Alicia is from Las Vegas, Nevada and a second year V&E graduate student. She graduated from Santa Clara University with degrees in Biology and Economics. While in undergrad she studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, which caused her to fall further in love with science, wine, and travel. In the years following undergrad, she worked for an organ procurement organization and realized life is too short to not follow your passion. In search of combining her love for wine, science, art, innovation, and business she stumbled upon the masters program at UC Davis and has never looked back.
