Hi! My name is Hannah Hanlon, I am a 4th year Viticulture and Enology undergraduate student. I grew up in rural Minnesota on a family run winery and attended the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities for my first 2 years of undergrad studying Environmental Science. There, I worked in the Enology Research Laboratory for the Horticulture Research Center and completed a viticulture/environmental studies study abroad program in northern Italy. I then was accepted as a transfer student to the UCDavis VEN program and packed my bags to move to California. Prior to starting at Davis, I completed a summer internship at Bettinelli Vineyard Management in Napa Valley. When I started the VEN program last fall I became very involved in the department and DEVO as I was, and still am, so excited to be at this university and in this field! This past harvest I completed an internship at Viader Vineyards and Winery on Howell Mtn. in Napa Valley. Currently I’m seeking positions in Oregon and Amador Country, and eager to start my career. I am proud to be a part of this organization and program and am hoping to bring DEVO to new heights this year as president!
