Katie is a senior in Viticulture & Enology. Born and raised in Southern Oregon's beautiful Rogue Valley, she only happened to blunder into the wine industry by lucky happenstance. Having checked the most interesting major box on her application to UC Davis, she entered V&E as an under-aged freshman and has never looked back. Last year, wanting to be more involved with DEVO and the V&E Department, she jumped head first into the fray and it has turned out to be one of her best decisions.  Outside of wine, school (and DEVO) Katie can most likely be found in a book or outside attempting to be athletic. She has a great year planned and hopes that you'll come out to a DEVO meeting or two!
