What We Do
DEVO is the student organization of the Department of Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis.
It was created to promote contact between students, the wine industry, and the community. We plan immersion trips to different viticultural areas in California, give scholarships for international internships, as well as sponsor group excursions to study the wine regions of the world. To make all of this happen we raise money through events such as rare wine raffles, the Dinner Under the Winkler Vine, tours of the department, and educational tastings for casual and professional groups.
