Felix is a senior in Viticulture & Enology. UC Davis is his second stop in his V&E studies, he also holds a B.Sc. awarded from Geisenheim University in Germany's Rheingau growing region. Previous internships in the wine industry have led him into the Pfalz region in Germany and the Willamette Valley in Oregon, in addition to some work for a winery in the Rheingau and a distributor serving the Austrian and German markets. He is working the 2014 Harvest at Alma Rosa Winery & Vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills in California. Outside of school and DEVO, Felix can most likely be found kicking a soccer ball around (that's what World Champions do!), in his kitchen making food of some sort, drinking sparkling wine with Shawn, or having a beer at the Davis Beer Shoppe. After graduation in 2015, it is his goal to work harvests in Burgundy, Australia, and New Zealand, before having to figure out where he actually wants to end up making wine.
