I'm Alberto Arduino and I am a second-year Plan I Master's Student in the V&E working in David Block's and Anita Oberholster's labs. I'm originally from Turin, Italy where I first fell in love with the world of grapes and wine. When I moved to California for my M.S., DEVO (or better, its people) were a huge support for me while I was still jet lagged and very disoriented. I immediately felt welcomed and part of a community. For me, DEVO represents the most social and fun parts of the program, creating moments and allowing the people to form incredible bonds.
